03 / GETTING THERE

Dean Road and Clinton Path meet the same park

Dean Road brings you to the broad lawn side; Clinton Path approaches the recreation area. Tell your partner which side you are using, rather than just saying ‘Dean Park.’

04 / BEFORE YOU GO

Keep tennis and pickleball plans distinct

Tennis and pickleball players use the same complex. Check the allocation for the court you plan to use.

Brookline Recreation manages court rentals and programming.

A FEW PRACTICAL ANSWERS

Before your first visit

Is Waldstein the same as Dean Playground?

Yes. The Town’s full facility name is Jean B. Waldstein (Dean) Playground. Use Dean Road or Clinton Path when coordinating your arrival.

Does an online game listing reserve a court?

No. Brookline explicitly says unaffiliated scheduling sites do not guarantee court use. Rally helps you find players; court arrangements remain separate.

Are all eight courts available for tennis at once?

The complex has eight tennis courts, with pickleball lines and scheduled activities sharing the space.
