02 / THE COURT IS ONLY HALF THE PLAN
Find your next hitting partner.
Find people to play with and agree on a time. A Rally game does not reserve a court.
No upcoming public Rally games are listed here right now. Explore Boston games to find another plan.
03 / GETTING THERE
Use the Chestnut Hill Avenue address
Boston lists Cassidy Playground at 379 Chestnut Hill Avenue. Some tennis directories use Beacon Street or call it Chestnut Hill Playground; the city’s project page identifies the same park as Walter F. Cassidy Playground.
Send the court pin along with the street address so your partner heads for tennis rather than the ballfield.
04 / BEFORE YOU GO
A loop path and seating beside the courts
The park includes a loop path, seating and drinking fountains. Restroom information is inconsistent across city listings, so plan your visit without relying on one.
A FEW PRACTICAL ANSWERS
Before your first visit
Are the pickleball courts separate from tennis?
The two pickleball layouts use the tennis nets, so the sports share court time.
Is Cassidy also called Chestnut Hill Playground?
Yes. Boston identifies Walter F. Cassidy Playground and Chestnut Hill Playground at 379 Chestnut Hill Avenue.
Can I take a tennis class here?
USTA New England offers Practice & Play at Cassidy. Its program page lists dates and enrollment.
